Bicycle Grant

The Bicycle Infrastructure and Active Mobility Grant 2025 supports mid-sized European municipalities in expanding safe, connected cycling networks as part of the EU's Sustainable Urban Mobility programme. Funded through CINEA under Horizon Europe, the grant finances protected cycling lanes, transit-integrated parking hubs, digital wayfinding, e-bike access schemes, and community safety initiatives. Eligible applicants are municipalities with a population of 50,000–500,000, applying in consortium with infrastructure, research, or community partners. The programme aims to accelerate cycling modal share toward the EU's 25% target by 2035, with a focus on replicable, measurable outcomes.
